“A” Series Construction- Basic Biology & Anatomy

The earlier A Series construction was mostly carbon-aluminum and steel composites using various kinds of battery systems as a source of power for the electronic components. With the A-2 models and the development of thermal skin a greater amount of power was needed to maintain a body skin temperature. Advances had been made not just in quantum computing, but also in quantum magnetics allowing for an earlier version of a small fusion cell to be used. Powered through nuclear-thermal decomposition of water, earlier systems used nuclear decay material to aide in thermal decomposition. Later models would use quantum magnetic pressure to aide in nuclear-thermal decay. With A-4 systems, improvements were made on the thermal decomposition and fusion system to use quantum gravity effects vs. quantum magnetic effects. In general, the fusion system uses hydrogen converted to helium, and the resulting energy radiation is collected and converted to electrical energy. The excess helium is vented out the rectum in later models discreetly. So as to be clear, all units DO NOT make fart sounds.

The current power system requires the A-4 android to drink a simple glass of water about once a week to keep up their power demands. They are designed to have a reserve “tanks” to hold water. The thermal decomposition of water process creates O and O2 as a byproduct which they exhale through a simulated breathing process. They do have the ability to consume “food” to extract hydrogen, but this process is inefficient and takes a lot longer. There are no excess storage abilities. It also typically results in solid carbonized pellets to be produced through an anus opening. Occasionally an A-4 will consume human food because it is asked to do so, or out of social custom. If the hydrogen is not needed at the time, their systems will simply carbonize the food into solid pellets. 

All models do have a battery backup system, but these don’t last long, usually long enough for the droid to shut down. An electrical plug is accessible through a belly button connection.
Materially as the models were developed they became lighter in frame through better composite materials of plastics and carbon-aluminum. They have always used a rigid skeleton structure with a muscular system attached for movement using miniaturized servo-relays as part of the transmission mechanism. They have no cardiovascular system, but do rely on a nervous system of very fine neural network laid down through the entire droid body. Thanks to advances in quantum magnetics, a true computer neuron was eventually developed, paving the way for true AI brains and neural systems. 

The entire droid system is regulated and maintained through information traveling along its nervous system. Thus, if information becomes compromised in any way the droid can become in essence “sick.”

The thermal skin system is a textured human analog skin made of polymers and plastics wired with computer neurons, which are able to sense and to heat up providing a human-like skin temperature when touched. There are some rare kinds of bacteria unfortunately that do like the thermal skin and can cause lesions to appear on an android if contracted. Androids must be careful to care for their thermal skin in as much as a human would their own.

Extrasensory perceptions- all android models are equipped with various communications abilities, providing them with a sort of extra-sensory perception. They are able to communicate with systems around them as needed if they have access to them. Depending upon the model, many have been equipped with various other functional abilities, such as the ability to accurately read a human pulse just by touch, the ability to determine the relative temperature of something by looking at it, equipped with greater strength abilities through stronger materials in their “bones” and “muscles”, or any other array of electronic sensing abilities that can be added.

An odd feature of the A-4 sex bot models is an option for the owner to use a remote viewing system where they are able to see and hear what the sex-bot is experiencing around them. This was added as both as a feature for police vice work, and for fetish users. 

All the A-4 models are able to reproduce a human through a built in human cloning system which can use male semen injected through the droid’s vagina; or a blood sample taken from either both a human male and female for a more combined genetics, or just one human for a standard clone. The genetic information from the blood sample is processed through sensors located on the tongue, so it requires the droid to lick the sample from a simple prick. The clone is built from genetic seed matter contained in the cloning system, and is basically 3-D printed into a living cell from which the clone is manufactured and birthed. The droid also contains a milk reserve, which requires replenishment so as to nurse the human infant. All these maternal and reproductive features are turned off in some A-4 models despite the fact they all have them. 

All the A series can have parts wear out, especially the mechanical parts such as the limbs at the joints. This will require that the part be replaced, otherwise there is the chance that a servo-relay could become locked up.
